Conceived the ideas, wrote scripts, raised funding, directed and delivered a number of ambitious short films and documentaries. Short films toured the international film festivals and the documentary was broadcast by HBO Latino, Oxygen, Radio Canada, Documentary Channel, and W Network.

2004 - 2006

After completing a BFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia, I was a director resident at The Canadian Film Center, where I wrote and directed my award-winning short film, Red Velvet Girls.

2006 - 2008

With funding from the Harold Greenberg Fund, BC Film, and Telefilm Canada, I adapted Red Velvet Girls into a feature length screenplay and was honored to represent it at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival.

2008 - 2009

Collaborated with the National Film Board of Canada on the development of my new animated short film and wrote episodes for Mixed-Nutz (comedy, ages 6-9), a new animated Television series for children, produced by Big Bad Boo Studio in Vancouver.
